Men Talk Sex, a 1996 film from Fanlight Productions, is described as particularly revealing because 20 men speak openly about a subject which men are often afraid to speak of: sex. If you have ever found that men don't talk frequently about sex, then this is the video for you. It contains 30 minutes of interviews of men discussing masturbation, first encounters, learning about sex, penis size, relationships, etc. Among the shocking revelations are men masturbate, often, and from an early age, men cheat on their mates, women don't like to be cheated on, women like to be satisfied sexually, many men fear their penis is smaller than most, size doesn't count, and women really do like sex as much as men. Though billed as "a great ice-breaker... for classroom discussions," Men Talk Sex's explicitness makes it inapproriate for any classroom below a university level. It's lack of any new information, no matter how entertainingly presented, makes it value to educators limited. May be useful as an addition to those collections supporting sex, gender, or womens studies.
