Yanovsky's Jerusalem Boxing Club showcases passion through competition and community within the sport of international youth boxing. The Jerusalem Boxing Club trains both boy and girl athletes in preparation for the Israeli Championships. Ring maintenance, motivational speeches, life advice, and antediluvian training techniques all receive emphasis.

The club's head trainer Gershon Luxemburg is dedicated to developing club athletes. Yanovsky captures the sincerity of club relationships. This film is filled with heart and exuberance.

Moreover, the film explores communism and the ideology’s impact on the sport, providing weight to political machinations behind athletic endeavors. In addition, travel, grit and individual training needs are celebrated and allows the viewer insight into the athletic process. Entrancingly inspirational, Yanovsky's Jerusalem Boxing Club will enrich school, public, and academic library collections.
