Yours in Sisterhood offers recitations of letters written to Ms. magazine in the 1970's. A person reads the letter to the camera and then reflects on how the letter affected them. The letters cover various aspects of being a woman and whether or not Ms. addressed those issues at the time. Among the subjects covered are sexual abuse, diversity, racism and empowerment.

This film provides an introduction to discussion on the history of feminism in America and whether the culture has evolved (or not). The project of featuring these letters makes a lasting document that gives them voice. Recommended for students of American culture and history.
