Reviewed by Bradley Long, Embedded Health Sciences Librarian, Pennsylvania State UniversityThis a frontline documentary of the first 76 days of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is filmed at four hospitals in Wuhan, China during the lockdown (January 23 - April 8, 2020). Several healthcare workers and patients are shadowed by the film crew. No formal interviews are included within the film. English subtitles are included, interpreting the Wuhan dialect. The film serves well as a primary resource for documenting the early response of the pandemic's ground zero city. However, it has limited value for classroom viewing. Some viewers may also experience a strong emotional response.
