Viewers will like this new and engaging story involving that lovable teddy bear named Ludovic. Co Hoedeman explores another very important venue of childhood: the sometimes-unpredictable world of children and bullies, new friends, and the magic that comes from making new friends. The storyline is very simple: Ludovic is playing in the park and sees an older teddy bear coming towards him. He thinks the older bear is coming to play but the older teddy bear knocks him down and runs away. This scene is repeated once more before Ludovic is saved by a smiling little girl teddy bear. Ludovic suddenly learns that there are nice people in the world as he and his newfound friend plan on how to outsmart the bully. Indeed through this magical friendship, the whole park joins in on the plan. By the time Ludovic leaves the park for home, he is smiling and happy. When he meets the bully this time, he notices that the bully is sad; Ludovic offers him his brand new kite. This not only surprises the bully but changes his whole outlook on how to treat people in general. The magic of friendship has turned a bully into a friend through an act of kindness and concern. This is a simple yet thought provoking tale told in a very simple manner. Making friends and dealing with bullies is a reality that many young children deal with today. Co Hoedeman's latest animated puppet tale will undoubtedly charm many children and hopefully some very young misguided bullies as well. Hopefully, like Ludovic, they will be transformed into good friends. Highly Recommended.
