This short, empathic documentary relates the stories of three women with PPD, and their struggles to cope in the face of societal expectations of new mothers. One of the mothers chronicled here, whose story is told by her husband, tragically committed suicide before her condition was adequately addressed, but the others were able to find help and even find the courage to have other children. This ultimately hopeful film would make an excellent introduction for support group meetings, community discussions or even mental health professional education.
