This is a powerful video that deals with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). It is discussed and explained through the personal narratives of 10 people who suffer from the disorder. Among them is Shannon who is afraid every time she drives her car that she will hit someone, Bill who is so afraid of contaminates that he won’t touch his own children, and a 12 year old boy who uses complex verbal rituals as a form of protection.

Several medical professionals comment on OCD throughout the video and discuss current research and treatments. Possible causes are also explained and include head injuries, streptococcal infections in childhood or exposure to chemicals.

The sound and images in the video are crystal clear. Subjects face the camera and talk to the viewer directly, which gives it a personal feel. This is an excellent video for just about anyone and is highly recommended.
