Quest for Justice is a beautifully produced documentary highlighting the work of Legal Services of New Jersey. The film is mainly comprised of interviews with legal services staff members and their clients. Quotations are interspersed throughout the film providing a sense of history and purpose to the mission of legal services. The producer and director, Laura Vietz, has tackled the issue of legal services for the underprivileged with compassion and dignity.

Vietz has done an exceptional job of pulling together individuals that are very passionate about the service they provide. Their sincerity is unmistakably genuine. The clients bring a sense of reality to the film. One example of the attention to detail in this production is that each person is clearly identified, an extremely helpful component given the number of individuals we see throughout the film.

The sound quality of the film is excellent and the music choices are well-suited to the subjects. Spoken words are clear and understandable. The use of subtitles when appropriate is another example of the detail the producer gave to every part of the film.

The visual quality of the film is superb. The editing surrounding the use of quotations and background images is flawless. The film is professionally created and edited to provide a wonderful finished product.

This video is highly recommended for sr.high, college and public libraries. Libraries serving curriculums in the legal sciences would benefit by adding this to their collection.
