This informative, well-organized video teaches viewers the basic concepts behind responsibly handing money and financial planning. Two hosts introduce topics and financial professionals like a bank president, CPA, insurance agent, and a consumer credit counselor, discuss the basic rules leading to financial success. Some animation throughout as well as lively background music adds interest and pacing to the presentations. The additional explanations of relevant, related practices and institutions such as how a bank works, ordinary voluntary and mandatory payroll deductions, financial goal setting, and insurance needs are worthwhile and practical. The emphasis on the relationship between a good education and a good job is noteworthy.

HRM’s mix of peer hosts and advice from experts results in a very useful, educational video. Editing is judicious, and the production is of excellent quality throughout, including both the documentary-style interviews and the animated segments. The Teacher’s Resources contains valuable supplemental materials, examples, and exercises as well as a brief bibliography of print sources and web sites. This package is recommended for high school libraries and would checkout in public library settings as well.
