Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), like many mental illnesses, is often the subject of ridicule or even uncomprehending disapproval. However, to its sufferers and their loved ones, OCD is anything but a joke. OCD, The War Inside gives viewers an intimate look at the painful reality of the disease through the eyes of four victims and the people who love them.

From Andrew, a nine year old boy, Trisha, a young adult, Grace, a wife and mother, and Marvin, a middle aged man, we witness firsthand how "the doubting disease" takes control of their daily efforts to function normally, with devastating effects on their schooling/jobs, their relationships, and even their will to live. Poignant, yet hopeful, this high quality documentary should be a welcome resource for psychology students and OCD support groups alike. The video package includes a guide to the disease with references to other sources of information.
