This documentary combines interviews and expert commentary upon various issues surrounding the clitoris. It is a refreshingly open exploration of a topic that is usually considered taboo. The video also uses graphics and animations to explain the physiological functions of the clitoris and provides a brief presentation of clinical research projects that have already taken place or that are currently underway. Other issues that are briefly discussed are whether or not the G-spot exists, the potential for a female version of Viagra, and vaginal vs. clitoral orgasms.

The documentary contains frank language, nudity, and brief clips of sexual situations. Some participants in the film do not speak English, and their comments are subtitled. The documentary is intercut with brief, somewhat comical film clips that separate topical sections. These often seem out of place, interrupting the straightforward discussion with unneeded humor. They do not seriously hamper the video, however.

The video and audio qualities are excellent and the graphics greatly enhance the clinical explanations presented in the film. This documentary is recommended for libraries in educational institutions, especially those specializing in medicine or issues of sexuality.
