What is the mind? Is the mind like software? Is the mind separate from the brain or the body?

Philosophy of Mind explores conceptual issues of nature, consciousness, perception, desire, intention, belief, imagination, memory, laws of nature, free will, contention, desire, reason, and perception. The classic and contemporary philosophies of Descartes, Mill, Gilbert Ryle, Nagel and others, as well as such as Colin McGinn and Brian McLaughlin of Rutgers University and Ned Block of NYU are discusses and examined as they relate to the mind/body dynamic.

Of excellent quality, this menu-driven DVD is well organized, easy to use and includes contemporary philosophical concepts. It is a welcome and highly recommended addition to any scholastic collection.
