Reporter, Steve Bradshaw travels around the world (Brazil, Uganda, and the United States) to interview and speak candidly with religious leaders, AIDS activists, community leaders and government officials about the use of condoms. Religious leaders opposing the use of condoms believe that HIV/AIDS can pass through condoms and that they only promote sexual promiscuity.

Community leaders, AIDS activists and government officials encourage the use of condoms as a means to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. Through studies and personal testimonials, it is determined that condoms prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. In Nevada, where brothels are legal, girls are required by law to use condoms. According to the owner, no one in her brothel has contracted HIV/AIDS. This is clearly a debate between church, state, and community.

Should the government do as the church and promote abstinence, teach family values, and fidelity? If your spouse had HIV/AIDS, would you follow your religious beliefs, not use condoms and risk contracting the disease? Can Condoms Kill? Is recommended without reservation simply because it will invoke an engaging conversation.
