This documentary focuses on the events surrounding the sinking of the RMS Lusitania on May 7, 1915 by a German U-boat. Part of The Great Ship Series, many of the details regarding this great tragedy are revealed, including why a second explosion on the ship may indicate that ammunition for the war effort was being transported on a passenger liner. The DVD is divided into three sections: Introduction, Last Voyage, and Queenstown. An excellent summary and presentation of this World War I tragedy.
