This movie examines the huge influence and domination that Google is exerting on many different areas of global culture, including economic, technological, social, and management. Search Engine Marketing, or trying to get one's business or website in the top 5 hits on Google using specific keywords, has now become one of the most important and necessary tasks for any corporation or business in the world. The film walks the viewer through Google's corporate headquarters; shows how one young man is making a living just off ads linked to Google from his website; and looks at Google's future and mission to "organize the world's information." As a librarian, Google has changed the way that the world finds and uses information, and the fact that Google is in effect working towards the goal of becoming the world's library is indeed a disturbing yet exciting notion. Anyone and everyone involved with information would find this video highly interesting. Filmed by a Japanese television company.
