“Jeu” is French for “game.” Jeu the film, is a visual game, played to the tune of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 16. As Prokofiev's Concerto is played in the background, Jeu begins with the letters J E U. The letters morph into colorful geometric shapes which morph into reflections in a pool. It continues through various shifts until it ends with figures playing instruments in an orchestra. The visual game then quickly backtracks through all the previous metamorphoses in reverse order. The film comes around full circle with colorful letters spelling the word FIN, just as they spelled JEU at the beginning.

This film would make a great, short example of creative animation in an art class or a listening or movement exercise in a music class.
