Two Tokyo-based producers—VJs REEL and k-mixx—contribute 5 visual works which have been subsequently re-mixed in multi-angles on this DVD by a bevy of international artists, including ben sheppee, kevlar, funkshun.01 and vj anyone. This offering comes from lightrhythmvisuals (who like to keep things lower case), “an independent visuals label” that “carefully curates artists to develop original content” as noted on their website.

REEL and k-mixx take the viewer on some virtual interstellar-deep-space travels with their glittering, trippy, dizzying 3-D creations. REEL offers up “in-sect”, “illmatic chopper”, “gravith 1-2” (all 3 with audio by chaos) while k-mixx throws down with “stained slash” and “beautiful destruction” (both with audio by broken haze). This is as cutting-edge visually as it gets.
