Billed as “The DVD that will change the way you look at music” these audiovisual bonbons are the crème de la crème of artists currently at work in “a genre that sits somewhere between film-making, digital art and music videos.”

Productions from 9 multimedia music collectives (which may include VJs, DJs, computer programmers, music producers and music video producers) are showcased: Eclectic Method, Bauhouse, Vitascope & Hannas Barber, Kane & Fodel, Red-Ochre, Glimpse & Fructose, The Mellowtrons, Cinderbud, and Addictive TV.

The disc kicks off (literally) with “Snake Worship Island”, which samples and remixes footage and dialogue from two 1970’s cheap-o kung fu flicks, then takes you on a 105-minute journey, seamlessly transitioning from one track to the next. Coupled with driving dance music, this is the sort of thing one might see projected on a giant screen in any contemporary urban dance club, or at a rave.

The DVD menu offers audio options for PCM 2.0 or Dolby Digital 5.1, and selected artist interviews with Eclectic Method, Bauhouse, Vitascope & Hannas Barber, Kane & Fodel, and Red-Ochre.

A preview of the DVD is available at the Microcinema website and at Addictive.com.
