With a painter’s eye, Sachs turns the camera on herself, her family, and her world, capturing seemingly ordinary moments, observations and thoughts, but in the process transforming them into brief, shining gems of quiet power and depth.

This third collection of her work, chronicles Sachs’ continuing development as an artist-filmmaker over the past twenty years. Rich in detail, deftly mixing formats, perspectives, and techniques (collage, split-screen) often within a single work, her style might be described as ”impressionistic visual poetry”.
