In addition to outlining the benefits of breastfeeding both physically and financially, this program demonstrates various breastfeeding positions; how to hold the baby during feeding; how to breastfeed in public; as well as how to care for the breast. Emphasis is placed on the fact that whatever the mother takes in transfers to the baby through the breast milk.

Young parents will relate to this program because the participants are real parents in the same age group as themselves. What is especially significant is that it includes the father and gives insight on how he can participate in this rewarding experience.

I strongly recommend this film to expectant young parents-to-be. It is very informative and emphasizes the importance and benefit of breastfeeding. Although this program is geared to teens, it is beneficial to any new mother because it discusses all aspects of breastfeeding. It is also nice that the program is broken down into segments for easy review and referral.
