This documentary looks at the world as a global department store presenting five astounding stories from different countries around the globe. An illuminating expedition into the heart of eBay headquarters in San Jose, CA as eBay celebrates its 10th anniversary and faces a new Chinese competitor. More than 200 million people use eBay, the largest Internet auction house worldwide. Each day, hundreds more join those ranks, ready to change their lives and find happiness in the world of eCommerce. The filmmakers weave together personal eBay stories, including "Uncle Griff," the legendary host of the eBay Radio Show and author of the eBay Bible, and featuring the Chinese businessman who wants to compete globally with eBay. You’ll learn about the philosophy behind the eBay system and how it has brought business and trade opportunities to the masses. The various interviews with customers or consumers of eBay provide an interesting dimension to the documentary.
