This documentary, very well filmed and edited, follows the life of Iraq War veteran Herold Noel in his plight to obtain assistance for treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and seek recognition from the U.S. government. The film is interspersed with individual interviews with not only other Iraq vets but also many from the Vietnam War.

We share high points and lows in his life as he fights a new type of combat. This combat is against a hidden enemy—bureaucracy. It is a battle of survival not only against the elements, but also against personal memories that hang on to soldiers suffering PTSD.

An awakening film!
