Mind in Motion explores the brain as an organ of astonishing plasticity, with dynamic and constant development and provides in-depth understanding of the relationship between body and mind. The film combines a series of documented interviews with footage of neuronal activities to illustrate new frontiers in the study of neuronal networks and how the brain constructs and integrates information from external stimuli. Also highlighted is how the brain interacts with its environment in sorting sensory information and processing conscious and unconscious stimuli simultaneously. Of particular interest are recent scientific discoveries in neuroscience, especially the fact that the brain functions in a more holistic manner, as a continuously self-organizing structure, with dynamic adaptation to its environment. Mind in Motion is a viable tool for educational or instructional use for neuroscience, psychology and philosophy students.
