“Wars are poor chisels for carving out peaceful tomorrows.” (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.)
This film is extremely well directed, edited and with excellent narration (by Daniel Sunjata) and music score by Mic Cartier. This documentary contains a central theme that seems to illuminate that American society has during the 20th Century been manipulated by concerted efforts of the state and military using national tragedy as a vehicle to promote state power and legitimized military action. Does this phenomenon continue as we progress into the early 21st Century?

The viewer will find many well presented issues for consideration in analyzing the events of September 11, 2001. The purpose of this film is up front and not embedded in latent fashion. The purpose is to call for reinvestigation of the events of 9/11, the actions taken by the Bush Administration in investigating the event and circumstances of the evidence and ultimately if warranted bring appropriate criminal charges. With this proviso in place the film is very worthy of examination. This examination calls for an open mind that is willing to weigh the evidence logically rather than with feelings.

Taken in this light the film offers an excellent tool to reexamine an event that is now nine years in our national historic past. Questions regarding national open records and right to know laws as well as need for secrecy are appropriate. In addition many questions may be set forth and examined regarding national need, corruption, and free speech in a democracy such as we have heretofore experienced in the USA.
