This is probably the most fascinating and enjoyable DVD I have ever had the chance to review. The new medium that is illustrated in this DVD is called Dynamic Painting. To put it simply, abstract images/paintings are put into a state of perpetual transformation using computer technology and music. Infinite variations on the painting are generated automatically in front of the viewers' eyes. The information on this technique, provided on the DVD cover and at the San Base website, indicates that this visual stimulation can improve health and performance, and can be used for relaxation, spiritual awareness, and meditation. I found both the DVD and the website very enjoyable, watching these static paintings move through various computer transformations accompanied by music. I have never seen anything like it in my life, and will definitely incorporate this medium into my daily meditation and relaxation practice.
