Equal parts pep talk, recipe for successful career pursuits, personal success stories, and aphoristic wisdom, this production by renowned motivational speaker Willie Jolley is over the top at times, but nonetheless beneficial. Recorded in front of a studio audience, the production often has an infomercial feel to it. In comparison to kindred offerings from speakers such as Tony Robbins, this work offers more inspiration and motivation rather than tactile guidance or learning objectives. That said, those who are quick to dismiss this format should take notice, as the inspirational messages are well delivered with vigor, humor, and precision. The personal accounts and adages are well organized and pertinent. This work is recommended to those with career setbacks who may need encouragement and basic direction in career redesign and/or reinvention.
