In this brief film, writer, director and producer, Françoise Romand, takes you into the world of the 2010 Gay “Olympic” Games in Cologne, Germany by interweaving personal narratives of attendees and participants as well as clips from a variety of events. Although the majority of the film is in French with English subtitles, there are additional subtitle options, including French, German and without subtitles. The cinematography and sound production of this film are excellent; however, the title of the film is misleading. The film focuses more on general issues surrounding the LGBT community as a whole, rather than the origin and intent of the event itself. The unclear focus of the film makes it difficult to determine the best fit for a library collection.
