In this award winning series the Roberts family are again going on a travel journey in an effort to teach parents and their children practical and exciting ways to explore many of the world famous attractions found in San Diego, California. Several of their adventures take advantage of the sunny climate that is native to this part of the country, thus, allowing water sports and the discovery of sand dunes to be part of their daily quests. Family travels integrate historical places along with newer sites to intrigue and entice adults and children alike. Mission Beach, La Jolla and Coronado make for memorable areas of discovery and all are tourist friendly. So if your pleasure is surfing on water at a rate of twenty miles per hour with the assist of Flow Rider at the Wave House, or just riding down a sand dune, you will not be disappointed. If you desire a more relaxed activity, you might want to check out Sea World, The San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal Park. All promise an exotic venture to be cherished for years to come. This DVD offers viewers a trip planner, an itinerary, packing tips, tiles of print and online resources and more, making planning a trip to San Diego educational and inciting. This DVD should be purchased by travel agencies, the San Diego Tourism Authority, and public libraries. Its content is very beneficial for families who are traveling with young children. This DVD is highly recommended. Viewers should also check out the Travel with Kids television show on PBS and can also watch online through ITunes, Hulu or YouTube.
