One is an ultra-orthodox Rabbi and his family in Montreal; another is part of a young couple who farm in Northern Virginia; the third is a young Jewish man who, with some friends, has started a secular Jewish school in Jerusalem. All three stories are “braided together, like the fringes of a tallit” to portray those living on the “fringes” of modern-day Judaism. All of their life stories are quite fascinating and portrayed sympathetically. The earnestness in each of them shines through in their lives.
The picture quality is excellent and the MPEG 2.0 sound is crystal clear. Hebrew is subtitled in English.
Recommended for all age groups and audiences.
