Reviewed by Michael Fein, Coordinator of Library Services, Central Virginia Community College, Lynchburg, VAThis film begins by making certain factual assertions regarding the use of water in the West Bank and how much the Israelis allow the Palestinians to use. Basically, the film asserts that the Israelis are really sticking it to the Palestinians in this small part of the Jordan valley. If everything in the film is true, then the Israelis should be ashamed and make good. However, we are only shown the Palestinian perspective, so this reviewer will reserve judgment. The film itself is quite beautifully filmed with the colors of the desert being quite striking. The sound is also excellent with dialogue in Arabic and Hebrew with English subtitles.
