Using news footage and interviews with politicians, policymakers, lawyers, anti-drone activists, victims and witnesses of drone attacks, law professors, and one former U.S. Air Force Drone crew member among others, we are presented a rather damning case against the present U.S. drone policy. We are shown the wounds, both physical and emotional, of those who have been injured or lost loved ones to these strikes. Condemned by so many, the policy still continues with no change from the Bush to the Obama administration. The images of the injured may be disturbing to some but drive home the point of the producers that this has to stop. This is by no means a “balanced” view of the United State’ drone policy – it is a prosecutorial brief. The picture and sound quality are excellent in this thoroughly professional production. Special features, which include a commentary track by the director and extended interviews were not reviewed. Subtitles in English were excellent.
