Several medical practitioners discuss different pain treatments including drugs, surgery, physical therapy and mind-body techniques, and their explanations are easy to understand. Several patients with pain caused by back problems, cancer and other ailments talk about their pain and treatment experiences. The sound and video quality are good, but the cutaway shots of producer/writer/narrator Jamie Guth nodding her head are awkward, especially since she never asks a question on camera.
