The Stages of Labor: A Visual Guide is a wonderful film that explains the labor process from start to finish. The graphics are exceptional. The view is from inside the woman’s body depicting what is occurring with the baby and mother during the labor and birth process. It covers the four stages of labor with the opening of the cervix in the 1st stage, the birth of the baby in the second stage, birth of the placenta in the 3rd stage and recovery for mom and baby in the 4th stage. All stages are explained in terms that would be parents can easily understand and visualize. Generally the process is explained by external views but this film does the opposite. The graphics are quite amazing and I highly recommend this film!
