Man’s best friend takes on a human persona when all he wants to do is sit back and read newspaper articles about space travel to escape reality. As the noise grows with constant disruption from household shenanigans, the family continues to take things out on the family dog, Fifi. The seven minute clip is a comical depiction of the dynamics between family members and their relationships with each other in everyday living.

The colorful animation is well done and the film is recommended for most library collections. The DVS can be a great resource for topics focusing on social aspects and behavior.

The film is available on the National Film Board of Canada web site for a reasonable download fee.
