America’s Triple Crown winner is an accomplishment that few own. Ron Turcotte a legendary jockey, riding Secretariat a legendary horse together won the Triple Crown in 1973. This film showcases the racing world but more importantly the life and accomplishments of Ron Turcotte himself. It is a film that highlights the world of a jockey and the rise of a legend. In 1978 Turcotte suffered a devastating fall which left him a paraplegic. Determined to remain a part of the horse racing world, traveling in a handicapped vehicle and seated in his wheelchair, Turcotte has continued to inspire, encourage and support both the jockeys and sport his entire life. He is truly an inspiration to watch!
