This is a beautifully touching film about a family reuniting after many years of separation following the Korean War. When we think of the Korean War we relate it to events of many years ago but for this filmmaker it is a present day reality. When Korea became divided so did this and many other unsuspecting families. Their journey to reconnect with loved ones is what makes this such an endearing film. Filled with history, war photos as well as present day Korea this film is able to present the history yet showcase the people and their hardships as a casualty of the war. This is a beautiful film.
