This short film offers first-hand accounts of depression and physical symptoms in young adults. The premise is to accentuate the connection between mental and physical health. With depression physical activity can provide a sense of accomplishment and an increase in self -awareness. When a physical illness is present it can lead to a depression when normal activities are interrupted. The connection between mind and body is ever present as they work daily to provide a balance in our individual lives.

While this connection is unique the film is lackluster in content and presentation. It does little to establish causative effects of the depression these young individuals are experiencing. Exercise in the form of walking and yoga are suggested as means to reduce stress levels and thus reduce or improve depression but it doesn’t scratch the surface with real help for those suffering from depression. Other than being able to see a person of similar age speak about their depression there isn’t any merit to watching this film.
