This film looks at five individuals in the New York area who are border-line psychotic when it comes to movies and cinema viewing. All of them live in poverty, yet must watch films in the cinema constantly, often multiple times a day. Many of them are "cinemaniacs", able to recite vast amounts of encyclopedic knowledge about films and movies. They spend their time working out how to attend multiple screenings and multiple film festivals across the New York area. Each of the five have their unique story, detailed in the film. An interesting look at the roots of film addiction.
