This biographical documentary looks at the 70-year career of artist Sybil Andrews from her childhood in England through her adult years in British Columbia. Though best-known for her color linoleum cut prints, she reveals here in personal interviews her passion for art in any form and especially drawing. Examples of the artist's work and of how linoleum cut prints are produced technically are easy to see and understand.

The video is very well edited and organized. Sound and picture quality is exemplary. This tape is part of a series of seven videos to date on artists entitled, "Artists of the World" series. Artists covered are not well-known or necessarily popular at this time. The proposed audience level is Junior High to Adult, but it may not hold the interest of teenagers. Public and academic libraries may want to add.
