This is a visual exploration of the Exuma Cays in stunningly beautiful digital high definition. Narration is unobtrusive and a carefully chosen of sound track adds to the pleasure of watching this movie. The film opens with quick a geography lesson, and then we get to see Exuma’s charms.
Photographing while diving is tricky. Editing everything afterwards is a challenge. Colin Ruggerio did a masterful job on a budget.
In any science/earth science related class, a good exercise would be to have the class try to identify as many species as they can along with identifying facts about each animal or plant they observe in the movie. Those interested in weather can describe cloud formations. Comparing notes after viewing would be beneficial.
