This excellent production depicts the lives of three female veterans who live and work in San Antonio, Texas. San Antonio is home to a large number of military installations; Fort Sam Houston, Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland Air Force Base, to name a few, and also a very large military retiree community. The three individuals in this production all suffer from PTSD – two suffered incidents of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) during their time of service. All three are active in assisting veterans through their work or through volunteer service. We see them deal with their trauma in numerous aspects of their lives as well as having to suffer the indignity of contending with the very dysfunctional bureaucracy of the V.A. when applying for treatment benefits. All of these women are resilient and their courage is admirable. No technical deficiencies were perceived in this production. Military collections should purchase.
