This short instructional video details the effects of marijuana on the body and the mind, and is geared towards those who are between the ages of 13-21. It is straightforward, concise, and answers many questions that teens have regarding the use and abuse of marijuana. Does it lower IQ? Does it cause cancer? Is it addictive? These are just a few of the questions in the eighteen minute length that are answered by scientists and physicians. The presentation is meant to be non-judgmental. A teacher's 24-page resource guide is available to use when viewing and discussing the video which includes student activities, pre/post tests, fact sheets, and learning objectives. I highly recommend this video for high-school classes devoted to discuss health and safety issues on similar topics such as sexuality, finance, and modern society.
