Life is One is the tale of three sun bear cubs Bunbun, Bermie and Wawang in Borneo, Indonesia. Unless returned to the wild where they can learn to survive these young bears will spend their entire life in captivity never knowing a life of freedom. This film supports a fundamental right of freedom and dignity for the animals. The bears are slowly introduced to the forest. There is much footage of serene wilderness (maybe a little too much as the film drags at times), beautiful music and photography. The essential meaning is to protect the bears and the rainforest in their natural habitat.
