They each survived different types of incidents which caused their TBI: an automobile accident, a criminal assault, combat, and a motorcycle accident. They range in age from a child in grade school to those approaching thirty years of age. The depictions of each person’s will to recover and overcome their hardships are quite inspiring. They all seem to realize very quickly that he/she must re-invent him or herself in order to survive and then recover. All of them show great determination and heart and quite often more than a bit of humor. Technically, no flaws were perceived. Collections dealing with medical sciences and rehabilitation will find this most useful.
