This production looks at two individuals who have recently challenged the status quo – Cody Wilson made his plans for a 3-D printable gun public and Amir Taaki created an app which uses Bitcoin and allows its users to 'go dark.' Using interviews with these two as well as others who know them – college professors and prosecuting attorneys among others, one is given a look at individuals who have been called “crypto-anarchists.” These guys are non-conformists and question many of the institutions and halls of power of modern society and the assumptions upon which they are based. Interviews and commentary by Julian Assange make this production something that should be seen by those interested in current and future trends in social movements. Technically flawless, this production offers the added feature of Dolby 5.1 sound.
