This film examines the new battlefield of cyberterrorism, where hackers across the world use and access the "dark web" to steal personal information, hold people and companies hostage through blackmail, as well as the use of the Internet by terrorist groups to recruit members and actively market and communicate their agendas. Testimonies and opinions by ex-hackers and homeland security experts are considered alongside various storylines such as the attack on TV5 Monde International channel and how the NSA's main supplier of cyber weapons got started. This film would be excellent for any higher education class that deals with current events in society, cyberterrorism, and the Internet.
