This film is a documentary on and about the lead structural engineer of the World Trade Center Towers, Leslie E. Robertson; his comments and responses to the 9/11 attacks that brought down his buildings; a detailed examination of how and why the Towers lasted as long as they did despite the heat and flames from the plane explosions; and Robertson's passion for peace and human rights through service and design.

Robertson is a famous and well-known structural engineer, whose innovative and unique designs can be found all over the world (just a few include the Miho Museum and Bridge in Japan and the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas). What is fascinating about this documentary is that Robertson took an active part in its production, discussing his life and work, his dismay and horror about the 9/11 attacks on his buildings and how that felt and feels today, and especially about his wife and their lifelong work towards peace and the dignity of humans throughout the world.

Numerous architectural and engineering firms supported and funded this film, and the insights and science surrounding many of Robertson's designs and buildings around the world, along with the focus on the World Trade Center Towers' design and destruction, make this a film both unique and special.
