Reviewed by Rodney Birch, Research Services Librarian, Northwest Nazarene UniversityThis film calling for justice for miners, specifically gold miners, adds to the current literature and films on the state of working and health conditions of miners. The film investigates the historical and current need of companies to find cheap labor. This is a practice all too commonplace in the contemporary business world - both in the U.S. and internationally. The narratives and interviews add to the state of current frustration among current and former miners that not enough is being done to protect them and their families. This would be a good film for persons looking at occupational safety-related topics.
