Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer, usually associated with exposure to asbestos. This documentary adds to other films on this topic by adding in a narrative feature. In an attempt to understand their grandmother's disease, two cousins cycle across the United States, talking to people about their experience with the disease. This film notes a variety of companies that continue to expose employees and consumers to asbestos. While there are laws in place dictating and restricting the use of asbestos, the question raised by the film is whether they go far enough. Additionally, what more can be done to protect workers? The film concludes with a list of companies that use asbestos as well as resource agencies for learning more about mesothelioma and asbestos.
