An inspirational story of how one woman made it her goal to end shackling in Georgia jails and prisons. Pamela Winn brought to the public's eye how there is not a standard of care for pregnant women to receive medical care or special considerations while incarcerated. Using her own personal tragedy, she found a sponsor for a proposed bill to end shackling in her state. Successfully passed, she pursued this change to the federal level. This short film provides a well-paced view of how a citizen can champion a change in laws. Thoughtfully shot, Pamela tells her story and justifies why she wants change for all women.

Suitable for those interested in law and the possibility of change in public discourse.
